THE ARREST OF KATSINA STATE STUDENTS LEADERS IS INJUSTICE AND UNDEMOCRATIC!

When things are falling apart, it is the duty and obligation of every one, in particular the active individuals to contribute to suppressing that in his or her own ways, thus a cleric ought to pray and preach in their fridays and Sundays sermons, politicians ought to blow critcisms using political terms, intellectuals ought to write articles, poets and poetesses compose poems, Artist write plays, dramas and sing songs, etcetera, to turn things copacetic.

Students always constitutes the integral part of any society, they are known to be active and good citizens. historically almost all incipient political movements starts with students, they are the accelerators of change. The history of this country will forever, never forget the contribution of the students union leaders in bringing about the democracy rule with hitherto longest life span in history, the juice which the oppressors of their descendants are now enjoying.

Everyone knows this country is moving with a speedy velocity toward entirely, a wrong direction, things are not well, even the blind and the deaf shall see and hear, the unceasing flow of blood, abductions, rapes, and incessant bandit killings. Souls are going, orphans and widows are increasing in mass, yet the clueless governments is not willing to practically end the tragedies.

Hence it is the burden of every active member of the society to take action through his ways. 

It is appreciable, the way Katsina state students made a nice move in making their contribution to bring about a better turn with regards to the situation of their state and other part of the country by organizing a mass peaceful protest which is constitutionally allowed, to call for urgent action from the government, to remind her of it's first and most important responsibility, that is protecting the lives of it's citizens, that resulted to the arrest of some of the union leaders.

It is very unfortunate, that this undemocratic callous government is good in hindering peaceful activities but not insurgency and banditry.

It is deeply astonishing and suspicious, that our securities can arrest and detained armless young citizens for exercising their constitutional right but cannot do the same for the bandits and insurgents.

I here by, with all due respect, call for the stakeholders Nationwide to raise to their voice against such condemnable act, demand for the unconditional release of our brothers and encourage such a peace protests all over the country.
