When things are falling apart, it is the duty and obligation of every one, in particular the active individuals to contribute to suppressing that in his or her own ways, thus a cleric ought to pray and preach in their fridays and Sundays sermons, politicians ought to blow critcisms using political terms, intellectuals ought to write articles, poets and poetesses compose poems, Artist write plays, dramas and sing songs, etcetera, to turn things copacetic. Image
I don't think I will be mistaken if I say the story of one Uwaila Omozua, who until her death was a student of university of Benin that was raped to death on 27th of may this year (2020) by some hoodlums has recently become the most trending story on the Nigerian Media space, particularly Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.  From the day that the story emerged, several articles have been flowing on media streets, numerous poems have been composed, this is in addition to the uncountable number of video clips, graphic images and tweets, that the hash tag #Justice_for_uwa appears among the most trending tweets on Twitter, thus alluring not only Nigerian or African but even international attentions. It is enough to tell one how the campaign has succeed in reaching the target ears, the way the husked capricious President himself quickly responded to the issue through his twitter handle by offering his unanticipated commiseration to the family of the decedent, and emphasizing th

A LETTER FROM NIGERIAN POLITICIAN TO HIS SON

My dear Son, You were born and raised in a life full of greatness, esteem and adoration by the people around you, you knows nothing sort of tribulation, misery or vexation. You attended the first class private schools for your primary and post primary education, fully equipped with modern teaching and learning facilities and now sent to US for your University where there's nothing like ASUU strike that might hinder you from graduating within your stipulated time.  All this are my plans to make your life the most fortunate so that you will not be like those sons of poor men, the thuggs that we use for our campaigns during elections or the worst of that, the homeless ALMAJIRI hopelessly meandering on the streets of the north.  My dear son, I do not intend to write you this letter simply to tell you about the aformentioned fortunes, nor am I writing to remind you of them, for I know you quite know them well and you need not a reminder about them. Rather, I have calculated that all wha

WHO DISCOVERED CALCULUS?

DISCOVERING CALCULUS, WHO’S EFFORT? NEWTON? OR LEIBNITZ? The discovery of calculus has leaded a very wide and lengthy controversy between German mathematician (Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz) and the English mathematician (Isaac Newton) who are all the great mathematicians of their days. The question of who found calculus was the most controversial issue circulating the field of sciences in the whole world around 1699 to 1711. At first, Leibniz published his work in 1669 but newton’s supporters accuse him vehemently on plagiarizing the work of their master Newton claimed that he had begun on a form calculus in 1666 by then he was 23 years old, though at that time the name calculus was not in existence and therefore he name his work as `some methods of fluctuations` but he did not publish it except as some little annotations at the back of some of his publications which though a very interesting and ingenious discovery but lack some important features. The reason behind the
